Abstract

The study is aimed at comprehensively analyzing the relationship that exists between trust, integrity, police performance and community happiness in particular with reference to the Telangana police. The systematic literature review which was carried out did establish connections among these variables, identifying important research gaps that need to be filled.


This study presents a conceptual framework that shows how trust and integrity affect police performance which subsequently affects community happiness. The aim here is to give an understanding on how procedural justice can mediate between the main variables so as to help achieve effective community policing.


The study is expected to provide theoretical insights that are going to guide policy makers in order to formulate strategies for improving community policing efforts.


The recommendations are meant for law enforcement agencies targeted towards building better communities relationships with their respective populations. Better police performance resulting into improved community would go a long way in enhancing public confidence and overall wellbeing of society at large. This research targets developing policies geared towards emphasizing on engaging with communities and promoting procedural justice in order to create a safer environment.
