Welcome to the home page of the Journal of Informative Education Research for Finance, Mortgages and Insurance. We are a premiere organization dedicated to the study and promotion of knowledge on mortgages and various types insurance. Printed twice a year, the Journal is aims to give readers a chance to be associated with persons with an interest in finance, improve the public’s understanding of their own financial problems and an appreciation of the different finance products available as solutions. The journal is also aimed at providing an avenue for the exchange of financial ideas through reader feedback and encourage the study of finance, specifically related to reverse mortgages and insurance in the different colleges and universities. The plan for the Journal of Informative Education Research for Finance and Insurance was hatched in a meeting in 1993 between members of the different brokerage companies throughout the United States. The first issue came out in January 1994. The dues then were at $20 per year. From twenty subscribers in its first year, the number of the Journal has climbed steadily. It now currently has 8,000 subscribers at the subscription rate of $40 per year. The first issue is sent to subscriber in June and the second issue is sent out in December of each calendar year. Editors of the Journal of Informative Education Research for Finance and Insurance organize a yearly forum discussing the whole gamut of mortgages and insurance products as well as the latest developments in the industry.
